- Sustainable development of selected regions of Poland The Renewable Energy Department is also a center of ecological education. In laboratories, presented are environmentally friendly, technological solutions ranging from energy-saving building features and construction methods, systems and equipment for water heating including heat pumps, photovoltaic batteries, and a system for optimization of a wind power station.
The department is also editor of the scientific bimonthly “Exploration Technology, Geosynoptics and Geothermal Energy (TPGGiG)”. MEERI PAS has recently participated in two projects of the 5th FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME: LICYMIN (G1RD-CT-2000-00162) and CLENSYS (Contract No. ICA-CT-2002-60020).
